Pop-up Forms

Permission required to use this feature: lists and subscribers > add new subscribers

Add pop-up forms to your site to encourage subscribers to sign up as soon as they reach your website. All you'll need to do is customise the forms in your account, then add the HTML into your site. To get started:

  1. Go into Lists & subscribers in your account.
  2. Select the list that the pop-up form will feed into (or create a list if you do not already have one).
  3. Select Signup forms from the left menu.
  4. Choose the option Your form will pop up onto your site.

From there you will be able to customise the look and feel of the form (including headers, fonts, colours, and buttons), set privacy and data settings, and adjust the messaging on the form and thank you pages. You will also be able to select any custom fields to display on the form, or set up new ones you may require, which will then route into the list.

Once you have made all the necessary adjustments to your form and are ready to publish it on your website, follow the steps below. If you are simply updating an existing form, you will not need to re-add the code, simply Save and publish.

  1. Click View code to get the code to paste to your site.
  2. Copy the script tag
  3. Paste the code into your website's HTML just before the closing </head> tag.
    1. Depending on how your site is built, you may need to download a plugin to insert the code.
    2. Pro tip: Include <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> under the </head> tag of your site's HTML to ensure optimal mobile rendering
  4. Save and publish to push the changes live to your site once the code has been added.

Subscribers who see the pop-up form will not see the form again for 1 year unless they clear their browser cache or use a "private" or "incognito" window

If you have enabled SMS campaigns, you can display the Mobile number field and an SMS marketing consent checkbox on your form. See Collecting mobile numbers to grow your SMS subscribers.
