Not receiving your own campaigns or test emails

When you send emails from the application to yourself, or others in your company, you may experience problems with deliverability. Either the email won't arrive in the inbox, or it could bounce for all addresses at your company domain.

While there are many things that can prevent an email from reaching the inbox, if you're failing to receive emails sent from someone@yourdomain to someone@yourdomain, it's likely they're being blocked by your receiving mail server.

Mail server blocks

Some mail servers are configured to reject emails that come from an external server but use the same domain, in the "From" address, that they host.

In some cases the receiving mail server may perform additional checks to verify the integrity of the email, resulting in delayed delivery, or it may be blocked outright.

What you can do about it

If lots of your subscribers are people at your company " people who share the same domain as your sending domain " our best advice is to ask your company mail administrator, or IT person, to whitelist our IPs or sending domains.
